A wear-and-go or ready-to-wear routine depends on the construction of the specific wig. Some Melted Hair styles are identified as glueless or pre-cut, while other preparation and securing features can vary.
1. Prepare your natural hair
Lay or braid your natural hair as flat and comfortably as possible. A wig cap is optional and should be chosen according to your preference and the fit of the wig.
2. Check the product construction
Before installing, confirm the product page and the wig itself for its lace type, pre-cut status, band, straps, combs, drawstring, or other securing features. Do not assume every wig uses the same system.
3. Position the wig
Place the wig so the hairline and cap sit comfortably. Avoid excessive tension around the edges.
4. Secure it according to its design
Use only the straps, band, combs, drawstring, adhesive, or other method appropriate for that product. A wig being listed as HD lace does not by itself mean it is glueless.
5. Finish the style
Adjust the part and shape gently. If trimming lace, using heat, or applying styling products is necessary, follow the product-specific guidance first.
Installation time varies by person, experience, and wig construction; we do not promise a universal one-minute or five-minute install.
